Sean hit me with this beat and I fell in love with it's simple dark vibe. I dug up the intro samples, one from an old movie trailer and the other from a "christian doomsday prophecy" record from the 60's. I also inserted the KRS-One sample as well. I had been performing this song as it was sort of bare bones and slow moving.
I recorded my vocals on my tascam 4-track and sent it off to Oblio who revamped it by adding that hook that I could never had dreamed up better and more strangely suitable.
The outro sample was taken from, 'the Great Misfortune of Charles Proctor' a short film that was written and directed by Nikita Kleverov.
